The regulated route for moving a worker already in Oman from one sponsor to another, with no new recruitment.
When it fits
When the worker is already in Oman and both families want to transfer sponsorship by mutual agreement. It is faster and cheaper than recruiting, but it needs the current sponsor's consent and the worker's together.
Core conditions
- 1 Written consent from the current sponsor
- 2 The worker's own consent — not a condition we waive
- 3 A valid passport and permit, with no violations on the file
- 4 Any outstanding dues settled before the transfer
