Scope
These terms govern your use of the Almira United Recruitment Office website and the services offered on it. By using the site or submitting a request through it, you accept them. They do not replace the recruitment contract signed at the office; where the two differ, the signed contract prevails.
Who we are and what we do
A recruitment office licensed by the Ministry of Labour in the Sultanate of Oman, working in domestic worker recruitment and hourly household staffing. The licence and commercial registration numbers are published in the site footer and on the contact page.
We provide regulated intermediation between the employer and the worker, and carry out the official procedures that requires. Once placement is complete we are not the worker's employer, nor a party to the day-to-day relationship between you.
Requests and bookings
- Submitting a form on this site is a request to be contacted, not a contract. It creates no obligation on either side.
- We issue you a tracking code on the success screen after submission. Keep it: it is how you follow your request on the tracking page.
- An appointment is provisional until we confirm it with you by phone or WhatsApp.
- We reserve the right to decline a request that does not meet the legal requirements, and will tell you if we do.
Profile information and prices
We take reasonable care in verifying the worker details shown on this site, which come from accredited agencies in the source country and from official documents. Availability can nonetheless change within hours, and a profile appearing on the site is not a reservation of that worker.
Published prices cover only what the package description states. Government fees, visa, medical examination and airfare are itemised in the written quotation before signing. Prices may change with official fees or source-country conditions, and any price published on the site is indicative until fixed in a written quotation.
Payment
- Payment amounts and schedule are set out in the signed recruitment contract.
- Payment is in Omani Rials, and the official receipt is the only proof of payment.
- No amount handed over outside the office without a receipt in the office's name is recognised.
Guarantees
The guarantee terms, duration and conditions are published on the guarantees page and written into the contract. A guarantee lapses in cases including: assigning the worker duties outside the scope of the contract, failing to provide the agreed accommodation and food, or treating her in breach of the Omani Labour Law.
Your obligations as an employer
By using our services you undertake to treat the worker in accordance with the Omani Labour Law and its regulations: to provide accommodation, food, a weekly rest day and wages on time, not to withhold her passport, and not to assign her to work for anyone else. These are legal obligations the office cannot waive.
Use of this site
The text, images and design on this site belong to the office. They may not be copied or republished for commercial purposes without written permission. Unauthorised attempts to reach the admin panel, and automated or fictitious form submissions, are not permitted.
Limits of liability
We exercise reasonable professional care in delivering our services. We are not liable for delays caused by government bodies, embassies, airlines or changes to source-country rules, nor for the worker's conduct after placement beyond the agreed guarantee. Nothing here limits any liability that Omani law does not permit to be excluded.
Privacy
How your personal data is processed is set out in the privacy notice, which forms an integral part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms when the service or the applicable rules change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page, and an amendment applies to requests submitted after it is published.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the Omani courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. We would always rather settle a disagreement amicably, by talking to the office management first.
